• Are you dreading the college process?
  • Do you feel comfortable with some parts of the college process but not others?
  • Do you have the time to organize your child’s college search?
  • Will your child do everything alone and leave you wondering if there’s something you should know or do?
  • Do you want someone else to nag your kid to fill out college applications?  Sometimes the most motivated and accomplished students don’t want to fill out any forms; conversely, some laidback or historically lazy students are very eager to complete their applications-we help seamlessly with both.
  • Are you a single parent or divorced (or in the throes of a divorce) and worried about which adult will take responsibility for getting your child into college?
  • Do you know what quick things should be done Freshman year to keep you or your child from going bananas Junior or Senior year?
  • Do you just want to speak to someone who can give you a realistic picture of what to expect when it’s time to start thinking about college?
  • Do you know how to legally contact a coach even before official NCAA recruiting season begins?
  • Need an SAT or ACT tutor recommendation?
  • Want to tell your child what to wear and what to say for specific college interviews but know they won’t listen to you? Should your child even go on an interview?
  • Have a child with low SATs or ACTs and a low GPA and not very active in anything? (Not to worry — there’s a school for everyone!)
  • Have a brilliant, well-rounded child you want to get noticed by colleges inundated with thousands just as accomplished? And what about a kid in the middle?
  • Not sure how to answer “what is the most important moment in history and why?” in 3 sentences?
  • Don’t know how to start your main essays? Don’t know what to write? Want to see what an excellent supplement looks like?
  • Want to know which colleges send out acceptances in October of Senior year?
  • Have more questions?

Life is too short to be stressed by the prospect of college. COLLEGE HELP! Organization and Advising Services can bring laughter rather than tears to your household.

We meet with parents or students or both and can get you organized, set your expectations, and give you a bird’s eye view of the college process in a very short period of time. After that, we can help you as much or as little as you like or need to complete the college process. Life as a teenager and life as a parent of a teenager can have inherent stress and challenges. Why not opt for as little stress as possible during the high school years? One or two meetings with us and you’ll be properly prepped to fill out those apps late summer and early fall of Senior year.

The college process can be stress free – Just come and spend an hour with me.
